Job Summary

The Ceridian Data Analytics & Reporting team has been created to focus on critical projects requiring in depth and detailed data mining analysis and issue resolution. The team is responsible for various monthly close and forecasting responsibilities along with a prioritized list of issues needing resolution. This role provides insight into the business financials and specifically identified issues by creating models and reporting leveraging SAS to extract and analyze data from numerous disparate financial systems and databases. This position will report to the Manager of Data Analytics & Reporting - US HRS.

Job Responsibilities

*Focused on mining large databases, and analyzing complex financial information
*Interpreting financial and operational data, drawing correlations and making recommendations regarding projects and future business opportunities to the senior leadership team
*Perform data analysis. Analyze and track key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvement
*Work closely with business leaders to define business requirements and leverage reporting tools to develop and deploy reporting solutions
*Perform complex budgeting and accounting statistical analysis, prepares summary of findings, causes and presents recommendations
*Develop standard and ad hoc reports using a variety of internal financial systems. Integrate data from multiple sources into unified reports generating meaningful data


Job Qualifications

*Bachelors Degree in quantitative disciplines like Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Physics and Computer Science.
*Strong analysis ability with demonstrated knowledge of software and spreadsheet usage; synthesize large amounts of data and translate into meaningful information; use analysis to drive change
*1+ years of SAS programming expirience with emphasis on report creation and/or predictive modeling Strong level of personal organization with excellent oral/written communication skills
*Demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis; including decision tree and regression analysis. Candidates with 1+ years experience preferred
*Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively. Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple projects
*Travel may be required
