We are currently seeking a Hands-on Varonis Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Specialist - REMOTE in US to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Role's Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to alerts generated from the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems and other technologies
  • Experience using Varonis, Proofpoint, Microsoft Purview, CheckPoint, Zscaler, and other DLP tools
  • Review and release emails captured by Proofpoint policies
  • Work with data governance team to ensure records are retained according to the record retention schedule
  • Create desktop level procedures and other technical documentation
  • Work with cybersecurity partners and lines of business to remediate events
  • Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations
  • Make recommendations for enhancements to detection policies
  • Support audit responses and investigations.
  • Participate in various DLP audit, control testing and other processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in at least one of the following:
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Event Handlingfor all DLP tools
    • Cybersecurity related governance, risk & compliance
    • Email restriction and response
    • Data Tagging within DLP tools
  • Must have Varonisexperience with configuring, finding data issues, cleaning up the environment, and reporting

Highly Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or cybersecurity certification
  • Technical Experience DLP solutions, such as Proofpoint, Varonis, Microsoft 365
  • Experience drafting DLP policy, procedures, and technical documentation
  • Experience working on a Data Governance or Data Loss Prevention team
