Job Duties

Avaya LLC is seeking an IT Architect - Level II (Irving, TX) to interface SAP with external applications to improve systems' usability and process efficiency. Develop a deep understanding of AVAYA business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners. Translate business process requirements to SAP configuration and document solutions. Advise on the management of configuration and testing across the SAP environment. Support the identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities that support organizational strategic vision and priorities. Collaborate with other functional architects and business analysts to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency. Support the management of the systems as part of Avaya's overall solution portfolio. Collaborate with the data management team to provide input on strategy and initiatives to support management reporting requirements. Manage 16 direct reports. 20% domestic travel and 10% international travel required.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field and 10 years of experience in architect and design of SAP finance. Must have experience in the following: Architecting solutions with SAP & Non-SAP systems; Sales and Service Contracts, Billing and Invoicing, and Pricing and Rebates; Designing custom solutions for newer Digital offerings in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4; Revenue accounting model (RR-Revenue recognition) - ASC605; Blackline tool (Book close, Reconciliation & Journal entry); Tax management tools (Vertex, OneSource & Avalara); VISTEX claim management; Support and enhancement of revenue accounting reporting (SAP-RAR) application; FI-CA & FI-AR integration with BRIM; and Translating business process requirements to SAP configuration and document solutions. 20% domestic travel and 10% international travel required.
