In this role, the Saint-Gobain Technical Project Manager - Infrastructure Services will architect, plan, deploy and maintain the centralized core business systems and infrastructure for Saint-Gobain businesses in the US and Canada. Primary responsibilities will include providing level 3 technical operational support, maintenance, troubleshooting and project management. Common activities consist of performing expert level solutioning, implementation, migrations and upgrades of Windows and LINUX OS systems. Maintaining server hardware, application of security updates, and addressing technical operational problems is required. The successful candidate will be involved in acquisition and divestiture related IT projects and should display a high level of competence in solutioning and migrating at the hardware, operating system, and infrastructure service level. A strong understanding of firewall flows is required.
TheTechnical Project Manager - Infrastructure Services will be able to accomplish this by enforcing compliance to security and infrastructure standards. The ideal candidate will lead in the technical scoping of IT infrastructure needed to meet the functional business requirements through project plans and capacity planning processes. The Services Systems Engineer III position requires excellent interpersonal skills and communication, both oral and written, to deliver monthly system reports to the business customer applications groups and Business Relationship Managers (BRM). The ideal candidate will have Azure Cloud hosting experience and be familiar with the technical aspects of cloud operations, including the ability deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure through IaC using Gitub and CI/CD pipelines.
