Job Summary:

As a key member of the Financial Systems team, the Senior Financial Systems Analyst will lead the administration and continued development of multiple Hyperion applications (Planning, Essbase, HFM, Financial Reporting, FDMEE, etc.). This will include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, business support, and system enhancements. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will also work closely with other systems including the corporate data warehouse and Power BI while partnering with other areas within Finance and IT.

The successful candidate should have a strong foundational knowledge of financial systems and processes, have a willingness to learn, possess a drive to exceed expectations, and be a great verbal and written communicator. Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Routine system maintenance, troubleshooting, business support, and system enhancements for all Financial Systems.
  • Strong understanding of reporting best practices and experience with defining, developing, and delivering data that enables various business teams to make critical business decisions.
  • Provide expertise, knowledge, support, and training needs regarding Financial System tools.
  • Work closely with the corporate data warehouse and Power BI dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance of SOX requirements within various systems, including change management, process documentation and liaising with external and internal auditors.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and data analysis as requested.
  • Strong ability to learn new tools.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in financial planning and/or financial systems.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems, planning, financial modeling, and business analysis.
  • Understanding of financial accounting principles, consolidations, and financial statements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hyperion applications (Planning, Essbase, HFM, FDMEE) or similar applications.
  • Experience with Oracle applications, or similar applications.
  • Experience in analysis of data within a Structured Query Language (SQL) database (preferred: Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server) with SQL writing skills.

  • Exposure to budget, forecast and reporting software.

Additional Considerations:

  • Travel Expectations: Up to 5%.
  • Location: This role will be located at the Corporate Office in Eden Prairie, MN.
  • Work Environment: Majority of work is performed in an office environment.
  • Relocation will not be considered.
