Summary:

In this role, you will serve as the Sr. Scrum Master for multiple complex and broad scope software development teams to ensure the project's success. You will lead, teach, guide, and coach teams on how to leverage Agile and Scrum principles and practices to effectively deliver valuable, high-quality products and services to customers. You will act as a servant leader, helping our Scrum teams work together, implement the Scrum framework, and focus on the outcome of product delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure Scrum Events take place and are effective, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Partner with Product Owners to support short and long-term planning, and to keep backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
• Ensure Technology department processes and procedures are followed.
• Manage and cause the removal of team impediments and barriers to successful delivery.
• Support release planning and other necessary meetings with agile team and end users.
• Coordinate activities and communication during releases.
• Actively participate in Agile Enablement Community of Practice programs or initiatives.
• Contribute to development and management of Agile Enablement practices, which include agile toolbox, methodology, performance metrics, and process improvement.
• Mentor and coach fellow Scrum Masters.
• Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity.
• Support and educate Product Owners, including grooming practices and maintaining product backlog.
• Ensure that Project Management Office (PMO) processes and procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree in business or healthcare a plus.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience as Senior Scrum Master in a software development environment is required.
• Current CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PSM (Professional Scrum Master) or CSP (Certified Scrum Professional) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile approaches including Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, and Feature-Drive Development (FDD), User Stories, Test-Drive Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games preferred.
• Experience in an Azure Cloud or hybrid application development environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, consulting, or technical industries is preferred.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
