Job Description
This position works independently to assist R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.

Execution of characterization testing, development and validation of test methods, executing equipment TQs, DV testing, prototype building, equipment assembly, Instron and other mechanical / electromechanical testing, comfortable with electrical/pneumatic wiring, documentation of test results and some data analysis

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
2. Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software to document prototypes and fixtures.
3. Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
4. Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
5. Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
6. Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
7. Act as a resource to other employees.
8. Communicate project status to project teams.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
CAD software experience
Electro prototyping experience.
