PURPOSE: To ensure effective traffic flow throughout Mall of America's parking lots and ramps.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

* Direct vehicles throughout Mall of America as instructed by Security Traffic Supervisor and/or Security Traffic Team Lead.

* Ensure the overall safety of the immediate work area as well as surrounding areas.

* Provide outstanding internal and external guest service

* Regular, reliable and consistent attendance

* Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

* Must be at least 16 years of age

* Ability to work weekends

* Completion of an in-house 40 hour training program within three months of date of hire

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

* Excellent coordination and movement skills

* Good verbal communications skills

* Ability to conduct self in a professional manner

* Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions

* Standing - Frequently- 80-90%

* Sitting - Periodically- 10%

* Kneeling-Periodically- 5-10%

* Frequent and extensive use of hands and arms at or above the shoulder - Frequently - 80-90%
