Manufacturing Engineer

Under general supervision, the manufacturing engineer provides floor support for assigned value streams to meet internal and external customer needs.  They will identify, analyze, create and implement effective manufacturing and business processes and procedures.  Work is varied in nature.  Also plans and performs engineering duties for part of a major project.  Duties and responsibilities are moderate in complexity. 

Primary Duties:
1.  Provide Manufacturing engineering floor support for test and manufacturing area.
2.  Update BOMs, work instructions and routing files to maintain accuracy.
3.  Assist engineering in developing and testing solutions to in-process manufacturing problems.
4.  Assist production supervisor in attaining department metrics for Safety, Quality, Deliver and Cost.

Degreed, 3+ years of experience.  Also experience in light electrical/mechanical assembly is ideal.  Must have good computer skills.  Experience with SAP is a plus.
