Talent Sourcing Specialist
Department Name: Human Resource
Hours:  20 - 40 hours per week depending on business needs, Monday - Friday
Location: Golden Valley, MN
Exempt/Non-Exempt:  Non-exempt (Hourly)
 
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Conduct external searches through strategic sourcing (networking, social networking utilization:  Facebook, LinkedIn, Jigsaw, Blogging, Twitter, etc)
  • Implement sourcing strategies to find and attract desired passive candidates
  • Develop and maintain a high volume of referrals and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
  • Post and refresh open positions on appropriate websites
  • Source, cold-call, and review resumes to find qualified candidates for current and future open positions
  • Conduct an average of 10 telephone screens and 2 interviews each week
  • Conduct 1st interviews with Applicants
  • Conduct telephone reference checks, background investigations and certification verifications
  • Administer surveys and skills tests to Applicants
  • Prepare New Hire Paperwork and conduct New Hire Orientations
  • Administrative work as needed
 
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Recruiting, sales, cold-calling or customer service experience
  • PHR certification preferred

  • High-level working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)
  • Self motivated, goal oriented, persistent, resilient
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Constant use of computer including keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with computers
  • Constant use of telephone with headset
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
