Description of Departmental Responsibilities:
 
·         Our team is the first point of contact for prospective students considering enrollment.
·         A significant portion of our team’s time is spent on the telephone engaging prospective students in discussions about their future.
·         Our team aligns prospective students with the appropriate College program and mentors the student from the application process through the 
          first quarter of enrollment.
·         As a metrics based organization; we measure various key performance indicators from speed to contact through conversion metrics to retention
          of those students who choose to enroll.
·         Our team is required to manage all activities through a set of standard reports and software systems.
·         All team members must work effectively with other campuses and college admissions personnel and maintain a professional image and attitude
          at all times.
 
Requirements:
 
·        Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
·        A Bachelor’s degree is required.
·        Sales experience requirements vary by level of role in the organization but at minimum two years of sales/customer service experience is required.
·        Inside Sales (over the phone) experience is strongly preferred.
·        Strong listening skills balanced with excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate a conversation with people from diverse 
         backgrounds and experiences.
·        Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain records and files.
·        Excellent organization and time management skills are necessary.  This position requires the ability to prioritize and work with minimal 
         supervision. 
·        Requires a high level of professional and telephone etiquette.  Excellent customer relations skills balanced with a persistent attitude a must.
·        Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
·        Must have great command of the English language, in both oral and written form.
·        Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, influence others, and meet deadlines.
·        General knowledge of the higher education industry is a plus but certainly not required. However, a strong belief in the value of education is a 
         must.
