Position Description
Immediate need for 2 contract electrical engineers.
Description of assignment
Substation drawings and documentation are being revised and updated by drafters in CAD system. Engineers are needed to provide engineering review of updated drawings, to research existing substation facilities and equipment, and to further update drawings with additional facility information. Work is primarily office work. Some field work may be required.
Contract duration is 6-8 months to perform drawing reviews. Upon completion of that effort, there is a possibility for the contract to be renewed with new work assignment to perform substation engineering and design work.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent required.
P.E. License(s) in one of more of the following states preferred: MN, WI, ND, SD, MI.
Engineering experience in substation engineering, power system engineering, or control and automation preferred.
Positions will last about 8 months, possibly longer .
If offered the job, the client requires an extensive background check and drug screening before starting.
